Prior to founding AdExtent, Tal worked at Morgan Stanley’s Risk Management Department where he was in charge of the bank’s Scenario Analysis product. Tal served in the communication department of the Israeli Army leading Computer Division (MAMRAM). Following his army service, Tal worked for the Government of Israel, Mission to the United States. In 2004, Tal graduated with honors from Columbia University with a B.S in Computer Science and Economics.
Tal is responsible for AdExtent’s core technology and vision. Prior to founding AdExtent, Tal worked at Go Network as an embedded engineer conducting R&D. Tal is a much sought after consultant, offering high-tech companies advice regarding design, integrated software-hardware solutions, peer-to-peer technologies, information systems, internet, gaming and wireless communications. Tal served as a team leader in Israel’s Army Intelligence Technology Unit. Born and raised in Israel, Tal is an autodidact and a tech-wiz since childhood.
Prior to joining the team at AdExtent, Ron was the founder of ClickWise Ltd, a leading performance-marketing agency. Ron grew ClickWise into an SEM/SEO agency housing 22 online professionals and working with both Agencies such as Y&R, BBDO, Grey as well as working directly with leading Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding ClickWise, Ron worked at Giza Venture Capital where he was in charge of Internet & MIS applications. Ron studied Economics at The University of Tel-Aviv and served three years in one of Israel’s secretive field intelligence units.
As SVP of Sales & Business Development, Daniel is responsible for leading AdExtent's new business efforts and relationships with marketers, agencies, trading desks, publishers, and platform partners. He brings over 14 years of experience in complex technical sales, strategic planning, business development, account development and digital marketing.
Prior to AdExtent Daniel was VP of Strategic Sales at Mediaplex, the technology and analytics division of ValueClick, Inc. He secured large revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 companies, and top brands and agencies globally, developing innovative data-driven marketing strategies to solve critical needs. He also brought new products to market including Data Management, Demand Side Platforms, and Marketing Analytics Services, in addition to leading enterprise sales teams.
Previously Daniel led Business Development for the digital video production house Reel Biography. He founded a marketing company that produced over 100 large scale creative arts & entertainment events, and consulted for Accenture in their Electronics & High Tech division.
Daniel is completing his MBA from New York University and has a B.S. with honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Shay, AdExtent’s Chief Scientist, is an expert in Artificial Intelligence. Shay is the co-author of Deep Junior, the reigning world’s computer chess champion, a title won 7 times. For the past decade he has been teaching AI in the Computer Science departments of Tel-Aviv and Haifa Universities. He is a member of the CRI Artificial Intelligence research institute in Haifa University. In recent years, he has been developing innovative AI systems for HLS and defense. Prior to that, Shay founded together with Garry Kasparov the leading Internet website for chess. Shay holds a BSc. in Mathematics and in Computer Science and completed his MSc. Studies in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
Eyal Niv, Managing Director, joined GizaVC in 2000 and has been active in Giza II, Giza III and Giza IV, specifically in the semiconductor, mobile communications and Internet sectors. He is involved in initial screening, due diligence and portfolio company business development and is on the boards of XtremIO, Lucid, Flash Networks, WinBuyer, CallApp, Motherknows, Total Availability and AdExtent. He has led or co-led investments in Oplus (acquired by Intel), Altair, Lucid and Cyota (acquired by RSA). Eyal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in corporate finance and actuarial science from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

One of the world’s leading private-equity investors, Sir Ronald Cohen is a founder of the European private-equity industry. Sir Ronald is a co-founder of Apax Partners, Europe’s largest global private-equity firm, responsible for managing over $20 billion; he is also chairman of investment management firm Portland Capital. Sir Ronald is chairman of Bridges Ventures and The Portland Trust. He is also chairman of the Social Investment Task Force and of the Commission on Unclaimed Assets. Furthermore Sir Ronald is a trustee of the British Museum and of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Sir Ronald is a recipient of the British Venture Capital Association’s Hall of Fame award and the Harvard Business School’s Alumni Achievement award, he is also an honorary fellow of Exeter College, Oxford, and a member of the Board of Overseers of Harvard College.
